At this stage, we are excited to have the framework lifted and constructed. The most highlighted (very big) detail of this home is the 90-year-aged Swiss wood throughout the build of the home. Every piece of this home was previously fully constructed in Switzerland to test quality and craftsmanship. Once it has passed Chalissima’s highest standards, the constructed pieces are carefully broken back down, numbered for re-construction, and shipped by freight boat to the Port of Houston where it makes its way to Breckenridge by train. We collect the pieces and re-construct the home in its prime high-alpine location with careful attention.

Other building tasks that have been completed in the first quarter include the roof, rough electrical, and window setting. (More info on the innovative window design to come!)
